2023-09-15

2023 – 2024 Parents’ Night is successfully held on 15th September 2023.

Principal’s Sharing

During the S2 & S3 sharing, our Career Teacher addressed the key principle of life planning and shared her valuable experience in guiding students to make informed choices on their curriculum/subjects. The world of jobs is changing with new technologies, work values and labour demand. We join hands with parents to explore and equip ourselves to be students’ companions when they devise pathways for their dreams and future.

S.4 Parents’ Night was a pivotal event, aiming to enlighten parents of Secondary 4 students about the transition from junior forms (S1-3) to senior forms (S4-6). Here are the key highlights of the evening:

Vice Principal, Mr. Samuel Lui, outlined senior school characteristics and life planning education, equipping parents and students for the journey ahead.

Subject Panel Heads Edmond Shiu (Chinese Language) and Eva Yuen (English Language) offered valuable insights and tips to equip students with essential skills.

S.4 Parents’ Night was inclusive and empowering, uniting parents and students on the path to success. Discover more about this informative event on our school website as well as eclass where all the materials used have been uploaded, and ensure a well-prepared and harmonious journey into the senior school years.

For the S5 session, the Career and Life Planning Committee has prepared information about multiple pathways and the JUPAS application system.

Over 150 parents joined the talk, all of them were very attentive and showed a lot of feedback and response to the speakers. The main purpose of the talk is to provide a brief idea of multiple pathways and JUPAS application, school support in career and life planning area and the timeline of the secondary six academic year. This year, we have our first cohort of non-local curriculum graduates, to cater for their needs, the talk also included the procedures for the non-JUPAS application and overseas study information.
