LEWOWA2223-03 Boundless Universe – The Exploration of Astronomy, Nature and Ourselves
Through the programme, students can
- learn basic knowledge about Astronomy and Ecology
- experience how to appreciate the universe, the nature world, and ourselves from different perspectives
- understanding the ‘’Four pillars of meaning to life‘’ to think about our lifelong journey
Experiential learning activities of this programme include
- learning about the eco-system and landscape of secondary forests and streams using natural exploration skills in the area near school campus
- visiting Tai O to do pink-dolphin watching in order to understand their living habits and the threats they face
- exploring the secondary forest at day and night time to observe the wildlife like amphibians, reptiles and birds
- going to a low light pollution location to conduct astronomical observations, learning to use telescopes, and trying basic astrophotography
- playing ‘’The Pillars ‘’ Board Game to explore the meaning of life and man-land relationship
