Recruitment Process

  1. Advertisement of Vacancies
    Vacancies will be advertised in local newspapers and on this website. In addition, vacancies will also be circulated to the related organizations of Stewards. Appointments are made upon completion of the recruitment process.
  2. Application Process
    Please write an application letter (and attach a resume and completed application form, the form can be downloaded from this website) to the Principal, Stewards Pooi Kei College, 56 Siu Lek Yuen Road, Shatin, N.T.

  3. Selection and Interview
    Applicants will be assessed according to predetermined criteria and specified procedures. An independent interview panel will be appointed to consider applications. Decisions of the Interview Panel will be properly documented. Suitable candidates will be invited to attend an interview. An additional interview will be held if necessary.
  4. Assessment Record and Retention Period
    Application forms and related documents of unsuccessful candidates are normally disposed after completion of the selection process. Application forms and related documents of candidates on waiting list will be kept for three months after the selection process.

    For successful applicants (employees), the factual data (application forms and related documents) and the individual assessment record (assessment sheet(s)/test score sheet(s) if any) will be filed on the staff personal file as appropriate.

  5. Privacy Statement
    Data collected will be used for recruitment purposes only. Personal data provided will be used strictly in accordance with applicable laws in Hong Kong.
