Food Donation Drive @ SPKC Rotary Interact Club
The SPKC Rotary Interact Club organized a successful food donation drive, embodying the values of benevolence, empathy, and unity. With support from parents and teachers, the club collected 20 boxes of food items, which were delivered to Feeding Hong Kong, a charity bridging the gap between surplus food and those in need.
Feeding Hong Kong works tirelessly to rescue surplus food from producers, manufacturers, distributors, retailers, and donors. This rescued food is then redistributed through an extensive network of non-profit organizations to assist vulnerable communities, including refugees, new immigrants, the elderly, and low-income families. This experience inspired our students to become compassionate, socially responsible citizens, demonstrating their commitment to benevolence, empathy, and unity while working together to make a positive difference in the lives of others.
