World Book Day Joint-school Reading Sharing Activity: Uncovering the Treasure of Reading
On April 24, eight secondary schools jointly organized an activity to celebrate the World Book Day with the theme of “Uncovering the Treasure of Reading.” The event was hosted by famous DJ Ms. Chin Pui-pui and drew enthusiastic participation from teachers and students alike.
During the sharing session, student representatives from the eight schools took turns sharing their favorite books and insights, which was engaging. The teachers and students were fully immersed, navigating the vast “Treasure of Reading.” Our student, 4G Hong Wing Hung, shared the book titled “Before We Say Goodbye.” This activity not only broadened the participants’ horizons but also allowed them to experience the charm of reading more profoundly.
The organizing committee noted that the event successfully fostered a love of reading culture. The initiative encouraged students to find wisdom in pages and establish lifelong reading habits through the joy of books.
