School Opening Ceremony 2026
The Opening Ceremony for the 2026–2027 academic year was successfully conducted on 1 September.
The proceedings commenced with the solemn flag-raising ceremony and the singing of the national anthem. It was truly heartening to witness our students return with radiant smiles, enriched by the valuable experiences and cherished memories acquired during the summer break.
During the ceremony, Principal Lee reaffirmed the values of a fruitful summer, underscoring the importance of learning a new skill, read a book and to serve. He further emphasized the prudent and selective use of artificial intelligence as a powerful tool to enrich and deepen learning, while encouraging every Pooikeinian to confront challenges with courage, resilience, and determination.
The ceremony concluded with a blessing and prayer to solemnly mark the commencement of the new academic year.
