S1 Parent Child Day

Embarking on secondary school marks a significant milestone in a child’s life, presenting both exciting opportunities and new challenges. To support S.1 students and their parents in fostering a strong bond while adapting to this pivotal transition, the College has partnered with Abundant Grace Church to organize an S.1 Parents-Child Day on September 13th.

Our Principal, Mr. William Lee, warmly welcomed all families at the event. He emphasized the partnership between the school and the church, assuring parents that they would be supportive allies in raising our Pooikeinians. His message highlighted the importance of community in helping families navigate the transition to secondary school life.

Pooikeinians participated in exercises with their parents to experience the benefits of a healthy lifestyle.

Mini games were organized for students and parents to collaborate and create joyful memories together.

Team-building activities were designed to enhance students’ communication skills and foster deeper understanding among them. These engaging exercises encouraged collaboration, helping students to connect on a personal level while developing essential interpersonal skills.

Our Vice Principal, Ms. Jenny Sit, shared valuable insights with parents and children, emphasizing the importance of support and communication in navigating secondary school life.

Pastor Au led the opening prayer to commence the activity and shared valuable insights with parents about the church’s initiatives and support for families.

Senior parents shared their experiences on being good role models for their children.

Families committed to working together over the next six years, pledging to support one another in their children’s educational journey and personal growth.
