Immersive Cultural Discoveries

On July 11, the voluntary service day commenced with an insightful cultural tour designed to deepen students’ understanding of Hong Kong’s diverse religious beliefs. Students visited the historic Hindu Temple and the Khalsa Diwan Sikh Temple, demonstrating outstanding civic respect by mindfully observing sacred protocols, including removing shoes and covering their heads. The morning concluded with a unique cultural milestone as students experienced an authentic Halal lunch at the Sikh Temple.

Building Bridges through Active Service

The afternoon shifted to hands-on volunteer service targeting ethnically diverse parents and children. Dressed in their school physical education uniforms, our volunteers led several key initiatives:

  • Promoting Cultural Exchange: Introducing Hong Kong transport and culture to the families.

  • Hosting Interactive Workshops: Conducting lively art activities that brought joy to the children.

  • Fostering Connections: Breaking down social barriers through shared creativity and collaborative teamwork

Growing Forward Together

The day concluded with a meaningful debriefing and certificate presentation to celebrate our students’ dedication and personal growth. This experience beautifully showcased our students’ empathy, leadership, and commitment to social inclusion.
