Joint School Musical Celebration 2026
The “Joint School Musical Celebration 2026” was a joint school music camp and concert which was co-organized by Stewards Pooi Kei College and St. Teresa Secondary School. This joint school music event aims to bring together music students from different schools to showcase and celebrate their musical talents, foster their collaboration and generic skills, and most importantly, strengthen their musical bonding and friendship through the joy of music.
Through team-building activities, ensemble trainings, joint band rehearsals, students not only learned from one another through collaboration and performing in the joint school band; they also learned various musical techniques and skills, musical ideas, and diverse interpretations of musical pieces, as well as enriching their overall musical learning experience by interacting with peers from different schools.
The highlight of the “Joint School Musical Celebration 2026” was definitely the afternoon concert that attracted more than 120 guests, with both parents and students. During the concert, the joint band showcased their talents by performing two songs together, ”Pirates of the Caribbean” by Klaus Badelt and “Future of Tomorrow” by Benjamin Yeo. There were also three ensemble pieces featuring selected musically gifted students from both schools.
The grand finale of the concert showcased the mesmerizing piece “APT,” delivering an unforgettable climax that elegantly wrapped up the “Joint School Musical Celebration 2026” and resonated with the audience, leaving everyone a memorable conclusion to this wonderful joint school music event.
