Delegation of “Million Talent Development Initiative” Visiting SPKC
On 16 October 2025, our school had the honour of welcoming 28 distinguished secondary educators from Guangdong Province under the “Million Talent Development Initiative”. Under the commission of the Department of Education of Guangdong Province, this initiative was co-organized by South China Normal University and The Hang Seng University of Hong Kong, aiming at fostering professional growth and strengthen education ties across the Greater Bay Area.
2025年10月16日，本校接待來自「廣東省中小學百千萬人才培養工程名班主任省級培養項目」學習交流團的28位初中級老師。該項目由廣東省教育廳主辦，並由華南師範大學與香港恒生大學共同承辦，旨在促進粵港澳大灣區基礎教育之專業交流與合作。
Principal Lee delivered a comprehensive presentation, which highlighted the distinctive educational philosophy underpinning our school, and introduced the characteristics of our diversified school-based curriculum.
Mr. Simon Leung further explained on the conceptual design and the implementation of the school’s signature programme — Learning Without Walls (LEWOWA). It was then elaborated by Ms. Joyce Ng with the local programme “Tailor-made: Cheongsam and Chinese Culture”, in which students could experience the intangible cultural heritage through the tracing of historical origins, aesthetic appreciation and hands-on tailoring. Furthermore, Ms. Pinky Ng introduced the interdisciplinary outbound programmes “Japanese Architecture Across Centuries” and “Advantageous! – @Vancouver, taste the gorgeous!”, which exemplified the school’s commitment to implementing its educational philosophy of “Learning Without Walls.”
李校長對學校進行了全面的介紹，重點闡述了本校獨特的教育理念和多元化的校本課程。
隨後由梁悅輝老師介紹本校的特色課程 —「學習無疆界」的課程設計理念及具體執行細節。伍婉文老師以本地課程「度身訂造：長衫與中國文化之旅」為例，解說如何引導學生從歷史溯源、美學欣賞到親手縫製，體驗長衫製技藝這種非物資文化遺產。吳君翹老師進一步以「見觸。日本建築」及「『溫』情密『議』- 探索溫哥華作為最宜居城市之因素」兩個海外課程，介紹跨學科學習方案，充分體現本校「學習無疆界」理念的實踐。
In addition, our Student Ambassadors played an instrumental role in hosting the delegation, providing guided school tour while sharing their LEWOWA learning experiences. Their warm hospitality, academic decorum and language competency left a profound impression to the guests.
此外，學生大使亦是接待訪問團的重要一員，除了為來賓們提供校園導覽，亦分享他們於「學習無疆界」課程中的學習體驗。他們的熱情款待、得體禮儀和語言能力給來賓們留下了深刻的印象。
