Athletic Meet 2025/26

2026-02-27

“Success is measured not by your position in life but by the obstacles you overcome,” our principal reminded all Pooikeinians at the start of the annual Athletic Meet, which was the core spirit of sportsmanship and perseverance, showcased in the athletic meet on running tracks and finishing lines. On the 11th and 12th of February 2026, the Ma On Shan Sportsground was filled with energy and excitement as we hosted the annual Athletic Meet. This two-day event was not just about competition; it was a vibrant celebration of our students’ hard work, resilience, and the joy of pursuing a healthy lifestyle. From the youngest runners to our most experienced athletes, the sports ground became a stage where effort met achievement.

We are also thrilled to witness outstanding athletic performance. For the second consecutive year, more than Five students broke school records! This remarkable achievement confirms that our approach to training—which successfully nurtures both our top-tier athletes and encourages participation from all students—is on the right track. These record-breakers are a shining example of the “Confident Explorer” we aim to develop. The winners demonstrated exceptional skills and sportsmanship, earning them the respect and admiration of the crowd.
