Athlete Conference Review

On 30 September , the Athlete Conference for Pooikeinians was held, focusing on key themes of discipline, team spirit, and the transition within our sports association from last year to this year.

From “One Team, One Dream” to “To Be Great is to Inspire Others“, this year we aim to emphasize “Perseverance” with our new slogan: “Winners Never Quit, Quitters Never Win“. This slogan is intended to inspire school spirit.

Conference Highlights:
Discipline in Sports: Participants learned about the crucial role discipline plays in shaping successful athletes, emphasizing self-control and commitment.

Team Spirit: The conference highlighted the importance of camaraderie among teammates, with athletes sharing experiences to foster a supportive environment.

Sports Association Transition: A major focus was on the changes within our sports association. We discussed new initiatives, including the leadership transition from last year’s president, Ian Lau, to this year’s president, Jackie Lai. This transition aims to enhance our programs while maintaining a connection to past practices.
