LEWOWA 2425-6 Tailor-made: Cheongsam and Chinese Culture

The Hong Kong Traditional Chinese Garment Making Skills” was included in the first intangible cultural heritage list of Hong Kong in 2014. This includes items such as the cheongsam, which clearly demonstrate the exquisite craftsmanship and high cultural value of this art. The learning objectives of this workshop are as follows:

• Introduction to the history of Cheongsam (male) / Qipao (female)

• Introduction to Materials of Cheongsam / Qipao

• To understand Tailoring, Pattern Drawing, and Cutting

• To Sew Traditional Cheongsam / Qipao

• To understand Detail Production (Buttons, Zippers, etc )

• Fitting

「香港中式服裝製作技藝」在2014年列入香港首份非物質文化遺產清單內，其中包括長衫，足見這門手藝具有精湛的技藝和極高的文化價值。本次工作坊有以下的學習目標:

掌握量身、紙樣繪製及裁剪的技巧

縫製傳統旗袍

製作長衫/ 旗袍的細節(包括按鈕、上拉鍊等)
