Achievement in Simuflyer Aviation Competition 2026!
Six of our elite young student pilots participated in the aviation competition on Saturday, 25 April. The competition consists of two sessions: basic aviation knowledge test and simulator flights.
They formed three teams representing SPKC.

Lam Cheuk Long (2F) & Kam Wia Kit (2J)
Students studied aeronautical knowledge which includes but not limited to principle of flights, plane components and carburetor.
These will better equip them with the required knowledge and understanding for tertiery studies in university, pathing the way for their future career.
They also fly as a team, with one pilot serving as the Pilot Flying (PF) and operating the training aircraft from Zhuhai Jinwan Airport (ZSDG) to Macau International Airport (VMMC), while the other acts as the Pilot Monitoring (PM). The pilots switch roles midway through the flight. To achieve a high score, they must complete checklists at each stage of the flight, clearly call out “You have control” and “I have control” during role changes, and continuously cross-check key parameters with each other. Strong team cooperation is therefore essential—not only for flight safety, but also for maximizing their overall competition score.
All the three teams of us performed exceptionally well in the competition. Beating most of other teams, they got two highest grade “ELITE”(第一名) and one second highest “EXCELLENT”(第二名).
Students’ exceptional dedication and tireless preparation have truly taken flight with this outstanding achievement. By mastering complex aeronautical challenges and working seamlessly as a team, they have proven that the sky is nowhere near the limit for your potential. Every late hour spent refining their skills paid off brilliantly the their your hard work translated into this hard-earned victory. We are incredibly proud of how high our students have soared and cannot wait to see where their passion and talent take they next.
