The spotlight finds her again. Li Sheung Soni, 2H , stands on the podium with a quiet smile – Floor Exercise champion and first runner-up on vault at the All HK Inter-Secondary Schools Gymnastics Competition.

Behind the glittering gold and silver lies a harrowing, deeply emotional journey. Eighteen agonizing months ago, Soni made the heartbreaking decision to walk away from the elite Hong Kong Team. This year, she decided to return to competition because she refused to let her gymnastics journey end in silence.

The comeback is never easy. She heals, she wonders and she doubts herself. She thought she would never be able to step back to a gymnasium to compete anymore. But the love of gymnastics found her again and she proves herself wrong on this occasion.
