“Rainbow Fruits Vibrant Moods”

From 2/3 to 13/3, the Student Wellbeing Committee (SWC) organized the ‘‘Rainbow Fruits Vibrant Moods’’ week to help students better understand emotions and promote self-love.

EMO Market

Through the EMO Market activity, students can understand emotions by using vegetables to represent them. Each vegetable character has distinct emotional characteristics, helping students recognise that it is normal to experience a variety of emotions. The activity was organised with the support of the Correcional Service Department and was sponsored by Ms Candy Liu.

Little Paw, Big Heart & Love and Peace Café

The Little Paw, Big Heart, organized by Regina Paws, helped students feel comfortable in the company of dogs and to provide students with some emotional support.

After completing tasks, the Love and Peace Café offered students popcorns and beverages as a relaxing reward, along with the opportunity to hand-make their own coffee.

Gospel Café

The Gospel Café is organized by the CEC, where students could enjoy drinks with their classmates to share their love with one another and with Jesus.

MoodLab + Emoria Charity Sale

The MoodLab was held by the Biology department. It taught students how mental illnesses like depression and anxiety develop.

The BAFS department ran a charity sale where students bought key chains to support schoolmates and show community care.

Love Actually

Some married teachers were invited to share about their love stories and their perspectives on love, helping students understand that love comes in different forms.

This event, in collaboration with Anti 480, delivered the message about the importance of consent and the meaning of sexual violence to raise awareness on sexual violence prevention

情緒I See U

This event was organized by the peer counsellor team, the event included mosaic coaster-making workshop, allowing students to slow down and engage in hands-on crafting. The team also organized mini-games to help students learn more about emotions and understand that there is no right or wrong in feeling them.

一果一心情

In the「一果一心情」activity, We used fruits as a metaphor to show that emotions come in a wide variety of ‘’tastes’’, but all emotions are important for us, just like fruits, which we may not always like them but they still provide the nutrients we need.
