Our journey to Madrid and Barcelona was a life-changing experience, where 30 students explored Spain’s rich art and architecture. Through workshops and guided tours, we discovered how iconic artists like Goya, Dali, Picasso, and Gaudí transformed the art world. This unforgettable trip inspired creativity, sparked meaningful discussions, and created cherished memories for all.

First stop: Madrid!
We began our adventure at the Museo Nacional del Prado, marveling at the masterpieces of Velázquez and Goya. Our guide brought the art to life with engaging stories, helping us to connect with the work on a deeper level. Next, we visited the Reina Sofia Museum, where Picasso’s iconic Guernica sparked lively discussions about the meaning of art and its power to express emotions. Students eagerly shared their perspectives, making the experience truly thought-provoking.

Next destination: Barcelona!
The excitement continued as we toured the breathtaking Sagrada Familia and the whimsical Park Güell. Gaudí’s imaginative designs and vibrant mosaics felt like stepping into a dream, inspiring students to reflect on the interplay between art and architecture. At the Dali Theatre-Museum and Salvador Dali House-Museum, students were captivated by Dali’s extraordinary creativity. His surrealist masterpieces and whimsical designs challenged their perceptions of art, leaving them in awe of his unique vision.

Our journey to Madrid and Barcelona was truly transformative. It opened our eyes to the beauty of visual arts and gave us a deeper appreciation for how Spanish artists like Goya, Dali, Picasso, and Gaudí revolutionized art and architecture.
