Celebrating Excellence: S6 Pooikeinians Shine in the 2025 HKDSE

We are delighted to announce that the Class of 2025 has achieved highly promising results in the 2025 HKDSE, which serve as a testament to their hard work and dedication, alongside the unwavering commitment of our teachers.

Here are some notable achievements of our students:

The percentage of our students fulfilling the general requirements for university admission (332A+2) has reached a record high of 85.3%, surpassing the territory average (44.6%) by a wide margin.

●   An impressive 99.2% of our students are eligible for sub-degree programmes (22222), well exceeding the territory average of 72.8%.

● The overall passing rate across all subjects stands at 98.7%. Around 52% of all subjects attained Level 4 or above (against the Hong Kong average of 36.8%), while 17.3% of all subjects attained Level 5 or above (against the Hong Kong average of 13.9%).

● All Core Subjects (English Language, Chinese Language, and Mathematics) outperformed the territory averages in attaining Level 4 or above and Level 5 or above. Among the core subjects, our students demonstrated prowess in English Language. Almost 100% of our students achieved Level 3 or above, with 55.8% attaining Level 4 or above.

●   Of the 18 subjects entered, 15 subjects outperformed the territory averages in attaining Level 3 or above.

●   12 subjects outperformed the territory averages in attaining Level 4 or above.

●   The results of English Language, BAFs (Business Management) and Economics surpassed the territory averages in all levels.

A total of 12 students achieved outstanding results in the 2025 HKDSE.

Among them, TANG Hok Him (6 Peace) stood out for his exceptional performance, scoring an impressive total of 40 in 7 subjects with grades of 5**, 5*, 5*, 5*, 5, 5, 5.

The S6 Pooikeinians have demonstrated remarkable resilience over the past six years, culminating in their exceptional performance in the 2025 HKDSE. We extend our heartfelt congratulations to our students who have excelled in their academic pursuits.
