2024-2025 Shatin District Outstanding Young People Selection
On January 12, 2025, Ms. Jenny Sit, our Vice Principal, and Ms. Karis Kam, Head of the Values Education Committee, had the pleasure of attending the prize presentation ceremony of the 14th Shatin District Outstanding Young People Selection at Shatin Park. It was truly inspiring to witness how our young people showcased their unique talents to make our community a better place!
We are thrilled to announce that Vanessa Wun Hong Ting from Class 5F, our school senior prefect and President of the School UNICEF Club, was the sole recipient of the Community Service Award in this year’s selection! Vanessa delivered an insightful speech, sharing her challenges and the invaluable experiences she gained through her community service efforts.
To foster students’ serving hearts, our school requires all S1-S5 students to participate in at least two community service events each year, with each event lasting a minimum of two hours, whether on or off campus. We are dedicated to nurturing tomorrow’s servant leaders by instilling in them the values of respect for others, responsibility, commitment, benevolence, and empathy, all guided by the love and wisdom of God.
