Visit from Wecarebill & “Christmas is A Time To Love”
WeCareBill is a non-profit organization empowering cancer patients on their treatment journeys. Beyond advocating for innovative drug financing solutions, it strives to create a comprehensive drug knowledge database and provides hotlines that assist patients in understanding and planning their treatments. The diverse team includes qualified actuaries, registered pharmacists, university students studying in medical fields, and cancer survivors. Since its inception in 2018, it has launched various initiatives for patient empowerment.
This year, we were honored to have Ms. Kelly Yim, one of the co-founders, visited our school to share her inspiring mission with our S3 students. Her message resonated deeply, igniting a passion in our students to make a difference. Each student was invited to draw and write heartfelt messages for cancer patients in less privileged circumstances.
Together, we collected, packed and mailed 546 envelopes with Christmas cards filled with love, encouragement, and informative booklets for the patients.
Through this experience, our students learned the values of benevolence, commitment, and respect for others. Christmas is a time for love, and we pray that these patients feel our warmth and support, knowing they are not alone in their struggles. May they be blessed with hope and healing this holiday season.
