Talent Pool Ceremony

27-10-2025

The school upholds the belief that each student possesses a unique set of talents waiting to be discovered and nurtured. We strive to create a supportive environment where each and every student can flourish and unleash their potential. One of the initiatives through which we achieve this is our School-based Gifted Education Talent Pool programme, specially designed for our gifted and elite students.

Central to our approach is Howard Gardner’s Theory of Multiple Intelligences, which proposes that students develop different intelligences across various stages of their educational journey, including Verbal-Linguistic, Logical-Mathematical, Musical-Rhythmic and Harmonic, Bodily-Kinesthetic, and Interpersonal Intelligence.

We offer pull-out extension programmes and advanced learning opportunities designed to foster students’ creativity and higher-order thinking skills, empowering them to harness their intelligences in various domains. From mentorships and forums, to workshops and competitions, our tailored programmes offer students the platform to explore their interests, collaborate with peers and showcase their multifaceted talents across different disciplines.

At the annual Talent Pool Ceremony, our Vice Principal, Mr. Jimmy TSE, formally conferred certificates upon Talent Pool students, honoring their exceptional abilities and steadfast dedication to excellence.

In addition, distinguished alumni Mr. LOH Chi Hang, Ian and Ms. WONG Yu Ching, Ally, returned to share invaluable lessons from their learning journeys. Their perspectives inspired our students and provided guidance to support both academic progress and personal growth.

Over the course of this academic year, Talent Pool students will embark on a transformative voyage of self-discovery and intellectual development. They will explore new fields of knowledge while sharpening their distinctive abilities. Through the School-based Gifted Education Talent Pool, we aim to equip future leaders to shape their own paths and make a meaningful, enduring contribution to the wider world.
