The Mount Fuji expedition offers students a life-changing experience that builds resilience, perseverance, and self-confidence. Over six days and five nights, students challenge themselves through preparatory training, teamwork, and climbing to the summit to witness the majestic “Goraikou” sunrise—a journey they will cherish forever.
Braving the Summit: Fuji’s Transformative Ascent
Embark on an inspirational 6-day, 5-night journey to Mount Fuji, where students challenge themselves and step outside their comfort zones. Throughout the adventure, they develop perseverance and self-confidence by overcoming physical challenges and pushing their limits.
The journey begins with two days of preparatory hiking training and equipment preparation meetings, designed to build stamina and teach essential climbing skills. This phase fosters teamwork, camaraderie, and a sense of shared purpose among participants.
The adventure continues with acclimatisation training at the 5th Station (2,300 meters) on the second day. Students engaged in activities to prepare for the ascent while spending the night in a mountain hut. The following morning, the group began their hike at 5:30 AM, climbing to the 8th Station (3,400 meters), where they rested for the night. At 1:30 AM, students embarked on the final ascent to the summit (3,776 meters), arriving in time to witness the awe-inspiring “Goraikou” sunrise. After taking in the breathtaking view, the group descended back to the base.
Step by step, students persevered to reach the summit, experiencing the life-changing beauty of Mount Fuji’s sunrise. This unforgettable journey instills resilience, a sense of accomplishment, and the courage to face future challenges.
