The Second Staff Professional Development Day & Housewarming Lunch
With the theme of “Safeguarding Our Children”, the Second Staff Professional Development day was successfully held. During the event, our teachers were inspired by factors associated with suicide risks, how to assess suicide risk, and how to handle students with high suicide risk in case of an emergency. Additionally, our teachers were updated on the latest ordinance regarding the legal responsibilities in reporting child abuse. They gained valuable insights into recognizing and supporting our students in need.
The guest speaker from The Samaritan Befrienders Hong Kong shared her experiences in identifying and handling teenagers at risk of suicide.
While nurturing our students to be tomorrow’s leaders, we hope to provide a supportive environment that takes good care of our students’ mental health and well-being.
Furthermore, we are also thrilled to introduce our newly renovated staff room this academic year. A housewarming lunch was held for all our teaching and supporting staff. This gathering provided an excellent opportunity for our staff to get to know one another better.
With the enhanced facilities, we aim to create a more collaborative and comfortable working environment that benefits both our staff and students.
